for 2024 Practice Champion Calls
Champion calls are typically held the third Tuesday of every other month at
12:30 p.m. CT. Videos will be posted to this page after each call.
Remember: For credit, calls must be attended live or viewed prior to the next recording release. The video on this page will be replaced regularly with the most recent Champion Call recording.
How is credit earned?
Join the six Champion Calls a year live OR watch a recording and complete a quiz.
Earn 20 points for 6 calls, 15 points for 5 calls, or 10 points for 4 calls
Who can earn credit?
Your dedicated Practice Champion, administrators or physicians are encouraged to attend—only one attendee is required.
What’s the deadline for credit?
Earn credit if the call is attended live or viewed before the next champion call (viewing period is
about 8 weeks).

Pediatric Modifier
Clinical Measures
Performance is measured on the following quality measures chosen by the Pediatric Clinical Advisory Committee (PCAC). Below you’ll find resources to support these focus areas.
- Asthma management
- Depression screenings
- Chlamydia screening performance
Bonus points:
- Patient-Centered Medical Home designation
- Enroll in and attend a full Project ECHO series
Asthma Support
Earn 20 points for 60-100% compliance
or 10 points for 5-59% compliance
Children with asthma should be given
an asthma control test and flu shot annually.
Depression Support
Earn 25 points for 90-100% compliance or 17 points for 80-89% compliance
Patients 12 and older who come in for annual visits should be screened for depression.

Chlamydia Screening
Earn 10 points for 56% compliance or 5 points for 25% compliance
Teenagers 16 and older who are sexually active should be screened for chlamydia annually.
+ Bonus Points: Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Designation Resources
Earn 10 bonus points for new PCMH designation or 5 bonus points for renewal
+ Bonus Points: Project ECHO Enrollment and Full Participation
Earn 5 bonus points for participating in the VHAN Project ECHO on depression and anxiety in a primary care setting.
- Bonus points are available if one provider attends the ECHO sessions with full participation.
- Provider must attend 7/8 (or 75%) of sessions to earn credit.
- CME credit is also available for any participant.
Registration typically opens in late summer/early fall. Limited Seats available.
